Reader Review

A beautiful story that touches your heart!

...We had met Cara or Lady Clarisse in "To Love a Lord" as the snooty, rude ice princess that gets Jane sacked. I didn't like her in that book at all. But oh boy was I wrong! I loved how the author has written her character. The first emotion I experienced while reading the book was pain, pain for the girl forgotten by her father on Christmas and pain for the girl who tried to mask her feelings by being the ice princess. I don't have enough words to talk about William...my oh my...swoon worthy hot, kind and caring...what more do you want from a man?

Extremely well written novel from the ever talented Christi Caldwell, absolutely DO NOT miss reading this one!

A Wonderful Story...

...I have to tell you that Lady Cara was truly a despicable character in Christi Caldwell's TO LOVE A LORD. The challenge of taking that despicable character and making the reader actually come to like her is one this author achieved with this wonderfully told story. There is definitely a lesson to be learned. Sometimes the facade presented hides the truth and with a little care and understanding that facade melts away leaving a wonder to be beheld. Such is the tale of William and Cara.

She's longing to be loved...

A GREAT STORY. THE STORY GRABS YOU FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. EACH CHARACTER HAS A DISTINCTIVE VOICE. THE PACING OF THE STORY BUILDS CONSISTENTLY TOWARD THE CLIMAX AND RESOLUTION. DIALOGUE AND NARRATIVE WERE GOOD. THE AUTHOR USED ALL FIVE SENSES. I ENJOYED THE STORY AND I'M SURE YOU WILL ALSO.
